I mean, looking at every member here who left, none of them quite disappeared like Edvard did. Luna is still active on reddit, and occasionally pops by here to see how everyone's doing. Jim was on and off for a long time, before he finally left. Edvard just posted about Luna's tits and then we never saw him again.

I don't think what Spatial said is actually very plausible. Suppose he was in jail. In that case, I think he would, at some point, make a post here. Just for old times sake. Even Alice, despite not giving a shit about anyone here, can still be found. We sort of know why she left. But when it comes to Edvard, nothing. Scandinavian prisons are like paradise, btw. There's no way you wouldn't be able to access Internet through there.

I've been thinking about it.

I used to think he finally got his girlfriend pregnant. I remember he was sort of ashamed of how he acted online. He knew that this place was detrimental to his psyche, and he spent shit-ton of time here. But I've changed my mind. Even if that were the case, he would say something. I'm sure that over the N years and months that's passed he would've been inclined to check up on here at least once.

I think the only possible explanation is that he is physically incapable of coming here.

And I think the most likely explanation as to why he is physically incapable of coming here is because he pepsi'd.

I had a chat with Ed just before he left, actually.

He didn't say he was leaving. Just that he was disgusted with all the pedos here.

Then he asked me about one pedo that I was always polite with bc... ew.

I explained to him that I was assessing his character and getting some backstory for my book.

In all my long years here, I only found 3 people who worked for my story and I had to bite down on my secret disgust with the one.

I guess that was his burning question before he left.

So no, I don't think he's dead. 

I think he just hates most of the ppl on the forum enough that he can't be arsed to say goodbye.

And good for him.

There aren't too many SC ppl I can say this about.

I learned of The lifecycle of the Edvard phenomenon, being that it may end in implosion. In the face of his bruised ego, he puffed up like a balloon character, farted away and then shriveled up on the ground. 

He told Sugar he was getting married and settling down, which is inconsistent with what he told others. He vanished from discord too.

If Ed was on his deathbed I doubt he'd tell any of us.

Though no one has ever seen or heard Ed, everyone thinks he is who he claims to be, just like everyone thought Luna was Mrs. [redacted]'s image.

In my opinion Ed couldn't carry on as he was, the online experience changed with the rise of discord. SC members started talking to one another through VC. Except for Ed, and why ? He's probably a tiny man in a wheelchair and sounds like it.

He couldn't carry on the charade forever, being the tall dark handsome alpha kickboxer, while there was no argument he was a simp for girls he never seen. Had he remained, he'd look less plausible, while fearing the truth while everyone carries on keeping it real.

Of course this is a theory. 

I somehow have the feeling he is watching right now.
