I still work for the state and still love it. Things are going okay. I'm hoping gas prices go up so that my Exxon stocks go up. I have been mostly just obsessing over the stock market and helping my brother with his business. I've also been really enjoying watching the conservatives taking over US politics. I also own have a pistol and an assault rifle now and lots of hiking gear just in case the apoclypse comes unexpectedly.

I'm still on an adventure to become a world-renowned scientist. I feel I'm hugely inadequate. I'm doing much better than average by most objective standards, but I still haven't quite reached the pinnacle of being the best scientist in the history of humankind. I'm not even in the genius category, like in the same category with the likes of Richard Feynman or Landau. I haven't decided yet what my breakthrough is. Others around me keep telling me what I can and can't do, but they've been telling the same thing to me since I was born and I've proved them wrong every time.

 I can see you are scientifically inadequate. It's obvious when you follow the consensus so sheepishly blind without questioning. You would have been in the group of flat earthers. No doubt a flaw in your Scandinavian group think social upbringing. At least you recognize this, the first step in progress.
