my official mental illness diagnosis is- inverted narcissism

23:06 compassionatequeen: holy fuck I just openly admitted the most embarrassing part of my subconsious

23:06 compassionatequeen: I have a superiority complex

23:06 compassionatequeen: an inverted inferiority complex

23:06 compassionatequeen: I have inverted narcissism

I am officially diagnosing myself inverted narcissism plus borderline pd traits because no therapist or psychiatrist has ever been able to accurately assess me imo  and honestly I feel a sense of relief because now that I consciously know and am admitting what is causing soo many problems in my social relationships I can try to make the best of it,  and if it is stemming from some sort of trauma healing that trauma  (but idk if it is or not,  trauma leads to feeling inferior not superior....  usually ?)  and they say that narcissism is not curable soo this disorder that I have is probably not curable either,  but I can still work with it and try to make the best of it just like people with npd do

lol

If you're meaning the one related to Sam Vaknin's definition, then it seems more like Med:

A subtype of covert narcissist, the inverted narcissist is a co-dependent who depends exclusively on narcissists (narcissist-co-dependent). The inverted narcissist craves to be in a relationship with a narcissist, regardless of any abuse inflicted on her.

Below, there are some traits that explain the behaviour of an inverted narcissist:

-  has major difficulties in making decisions on everyday issues and if s/he does not receive any advice and encouragement from others, may experience episodes of anxiety.

-  s/he needs others to take responsibility for most of the important aspects of life.

-  has difficulty expressing their disagreement with others due to the fear of losing the support and approval (not to mention the fear of punishment).

-  he or she has difficulty in starting their own projects independently or in planning their own activities. This happens due to a lack of confidence in their abilities, not because of a lack of motivation or energy.

-  excessive efforts to get support and protection from others, even going to the point where they volunteer for unpleasant activities.

-  s/he feels uncomfortable or helpless when alone, because of the exaggerated fear that s/he is incapable of taking care of her/himself.

-  as soon as s/he ends a relationship, s/he seeks to establish another relationship that could provide support and protection.

An inverted narcissist is willing to go the extra mile in order to save their relationship/marriage. They will do it regardless of the mistreatment or abuse they may suffer; regardless of whether their desires or plans are fulfilled or not.

As a result, an inverted narcissist will intentionally seek to form a relationship with a narcissist, who can help them develop the self-identity they lack. As such, an inverted narcissist will often feel powerful and useful when they comply with the strict rules of their partner.

^  I have all of this,  plus borderline pd traits

I feel at peace knowing diagnosis that resonate with me  I feel like these are definitely the two disorders that I am struggling with and I am grateful that with the borderline pd that I do not intentionally physically harm myself and other people  (I unintentionally physically harm myself though but not other people)-  soo I think that I just have borderline traits but I think that for the inverted narcissism I have the full blown disorder

Does not seem like a you problem.

-  excessive efforts to get support and protection from others, even going to the point where they volunteer for unpleasant activities.

Nor this.

-  as soon as s/he ends a relationship, s/he seeks to establish another relationship that could provide support and protection.

You instead clung to an illusionary one, even when telling yourself it should be over.

As a result, an inverted narcissist will intentionally seek to form a relationship with a narcissist, who can help them develop the self-identity they lack. As such, an inverted narcissist will often feel powerful and useful when they comply with the strict rules of their partner.

Don't see you doing this one either, you keep wanting someone who will support and enable you rather than someone to tell you what to do.

holy fuck literally nothing can summarize me as a person psychologically speaking like in dsm terms  I am too unique of a person for the dsm what the fuck  kind of sarcastic because no one can really be summarized into a disorder but still
