Plenty who didn't disarm have done it too, if you go far back enough in history for the do's and don'ts you'll see most have done something.

England seems to be doing alright without guns.

Young Americans are made to be stupid as they push for gun control. They mean well but they have no idea what their wishing for.

There are plenty who push for gun control simply with the hopes of keeping heavy munitions out of people's hands, rather than all guns.

I personally think we need to replace bullets with rubber ones or tazer rounds, and obviously gun shows and other venues for getting a gun need to be vetted better. The larger problem though is that there's too many guns here, making it difficult to police it either for distribution towards our own people or to/from foreign markets.

It makes things like Gun Registration that much more difficult. Ideally, whoever got the gun could be blamed from a surprisingly good paper trail even if someone else took their gun, but unregistered guns throw off the room to surveil it.
