If I tell people that I eat raw meat in private, they always end up freaking out and obsessing over it. People that smoke cigarettes or whatever bullshit don't get as much shit because it is so normalized.
A reminder that normalcy will always try to reinforce itself and that nobody respects what people do just because it's in their supposed privacy or rights.
The only real privacy is secrecy or you will face permanent social consequence. Why I don't often tell people that I am anti-vax although at least the anti-vax stuff is somewhat normal and people feel the need to accept it more or less.
What kind of meat?
Mostly steak and also bacon.
I know some meats have more worries connected to them but none of them have made me sick and I try to eat organic.
There was a time I ate super cheap pork even though I cooked it and it made me feel terrible.

You know what i can respect the beef choice. Pork kinda hmm but i would have been gagging if you said chicken.
Lots of seafood you can eat raw
Knew a guy that ate raw meat, he ended up getting trichinosis. It put him in the hospital.
"The risk of death from infection is low." "pork, boar, dog"
I'm guessing it's from the messy conditions of pork and boars are known to eat human garbage and crops. It's usually bacon I am the most hesitant about. Cows seem to get decent treatment more often than pigs, but again I try to get green labels although I will sometimes gamble on grocer raw steak.

I would do chicken if I knew it was organic as in treated extremely well. Or more likely if I raised the chickens myself. Makes me like Japan because of how popular raw fish is.

Japanese chicken tataki
Eating raw meat can give people tape worms. Pork especially. Pigs will eat nasty shit.
If you eat like that you should buy worm syrup. I swear only carribean people sell this stuff.
Pigs are fed nasty shit.
