Tbh yes, I know tons of Chinese people who came here. When they come to Canada, it's either Toronto or Vancouver. They turned up in highschool especially, fewer in elementary though that makes sense.
China sux. They aren't even free to be what they want, they are pretty much assigned their role. Censorship is insane in China, freedom of speech, in China ? Not really.
This thread specifically addresses Hong Kong. A place that had mass riots fighting for democracy while under China's rule.
