MissCommunication=Xadem
They both came back on the same day. It is confirmed.
Who is SherlockHolmes?
Considering the timing, it might be Med.
But would Med be so silly as to make a thread like this?
Other candidates, based on recency of activity relative to the post:
1. Xadem -- Can he hold himself together grammatically long enough for this short post? Is it in his style? He would seem likelier to have the "motivation" to do this. Former < latter, as far as likelihood being a factor.
2. MissC -- Would she have any reason other than to make some random joke after whatever period of non-activity? Is it really her writing style? The latter is stronger than the former, for reasoning off the evidence.
3. Delora -- She has demonstrated the ability to be more grammatically consistent (in the short term, at least). She did make some attempts at responding to Xadem. However, why even make the association in this post and, well, post it? Doesn't seem her style, unless it's a random means for attention.
4. zadian -- The "bot" that apparently makes ads. This is just a Matryoshka, meaning it would require further deduction of the identity behind this one. A good multi-layer approach. Doesn't really help pin it down though, but can help discount other propositions.
5. Buttered Toast -- As if.
Outliers (not active, but maybe lurking):
1. TC -- Not really her style. Though, she is capable of mimicry and performance that would be able to get by, putting suspicion on someone else.
2. compassionatequeen -- She has demonstrated being able to make puppets, but she is harder pressed to remain undetected due to her issues with constraint keeping her from sustaining a ruse, even a small one like this, perhaps. It also doesn't seem like what she'd do, even for a joke. Outside her usual purview or scope, even in jest.
3. Kimberly43 (or another of the "ad bots", whomever is behind them) -- Same situation as "zadian", but this one also lurks more frequently, as of late.
Of course, there are the other frequenters that may be lurking, but farther in timescale to consider by reason of probability. But...that might be all the more reason to suspect them.
Other evidential considerations:
The use of "SherlockHolmes" as the name. It's a fairly common choice, presumably to symbolize sleuthing. Why not "DirkGently" or another obscurer reference? Style or practicality? They did not use a space between "Sherlock" and "Holmes", which could be a stylistic or practical choice. Probably the latter, but if the former, then they are ignorant of the spacing option, perhaps. Such practical choices speak to someone being here and making the post in a timely-fashion, meaning the first candidates more likely.
It is NOT I
Considering the use of the phrase “it is confirmed” my vote is in for FRIEDRICH
I would have ignored this thread if it weren’t for your accusation
More like supposition, than accusation.
Friedrich -- Has demonstrated a fixation on Xadem before, with a lesser degree on MissC. He likes to make wild associations of identity. He has been known to make puppets before. The writing style isn't far from probable.
Med might be right.
3. Delora -- She has demonstrated the ability to be more grammatically consistent (in the short term, at least). She did make some attempts at responding to Xadem. However, why even make the association in this post and, well, post it? Doesn't seem her style, unless it's a random means for attention.
I can be grammatically skilled more so than others. I was in Honors English and have even won awards and honorable mentions. I don't see the point as long as people understand what I am saying, as it seems like neurotypical nonsense to me. Therefore, I see it as a waste of my time.
meh i wasnt responding for attention xadem is an old and respected friend and i have stated before i miss em being on here, and it was good to see em back
