without a doubt scientists have a lot of heart, and technology is the future. in 2090 when ai runs everything and jobs are leisurely and exotic adventures like vacations are now, you can be a boson ripper or a string straightener. cern will shrink people down to ant size and the scientists will place bets as they watch you fight to the death over morsels of plasmoids. they might even blow the universe in with a black hole collider just so they can watch you scream from a parallel monitor. think goebbels, but with qualia. a hell more real than 4k coming to a simulator near you
