Depends on the purpose of the server and who the server keeps.
I once joined the Million Token community server on discord, and it was filled with apes willing to swam anyone and anything to shill the project. Some drama happened with the team and one guy set off to create his own token. So I joined that server and bought some of the new token.
Then back in the Million server I started getting bullied just for being in the new community, and I got jailed. I managed to get some time back in the general section after moderation said he'll let the comminuty decide with a vote.
I told them first off. I'm on the first page of the blockchains holders list, therefore I have more Million than a heap of you combined, and you're going to do me dirty for buying another project ?
The good people of the server surfaced and granted me praise, my accusers silenced, and the remainder of my time there was awkward.
When it came to gaming, discord was the best at what it does, while TeamSpeak was a flimsey piece of shit, making us wonder if it's possible to have a stable VC online.
Discord delivered, and today it's for everyone. You really don't need a phone number to have someone accept your call and hold their cellphone to their ear.
