As if attributing monetary value to paper and printing it to pretend we have more resources than we actually do wasn't enough, now we're doing the same for just a piece of arbitrary data on a computer. Maybe at one point things like Bitcoin was more likely to be worth it before it blew up and exploded in price, but now everybody is talking about it from Elon Musk to your grandma. The current state of cryptocurrency is a contest of grifting; scam artist after scam artist pushing their useless coin in hopes of getting a quick buck. And while the advantage of being more unregulated is touted, let's not kid ourselves. When the most powerful man in the world is promoting it, you can be sure it's nothing revolutionary. It's part of the system and it's rigged. Sure you could make money off of it, but more than likely you're either gonna lose or barely gain anything. If you're wealthy or an influencer maybe then it's more worthwhile but for the average everyday person that this is being marketed to, it's just the internet era's lottery ticket and not much different from a MLM.

Investing isn't for everyone. You have to sell too. You have to pay attention to it and know the latest news and trends, see what's being reported in the economy. Invest in projects with utility, or go short on speculative projects. Check the chain if the creator locked his supply so he can't dump.
This goes for stocks and fiat exchange. Cryptocurrency happens to be better at what other assets and commodities do as far as valuations go.
For the next year and a half we'll see people saying "see I told you so" just like they did in 2018 to 2019, while this market goes down to higher lows as it's been doing for over a decade now.
Learning as much as you can is vital, otherwise this will be a shot in the dark lottery ticket.
