You’ve seen how desperate she makes herself that she needs someone, throwing off taking personal responsibility and balking at the effort involved. She has locked herself in place with bitter codependency and self-loathing. On some level, she probably thinks she deserves it yet still throws tantrums despite putting herself in the situation because of all this in the first place.
