Do you have irl friends?

What percent of your overall socialization takes place here vs talking to people irl?

What percent of your socialization irl is with people* who like you and choose to spend time with you? Comparatively What percent is with coworkers, clerks, or people who only talk to you due to circumstance of proximity?

*Edit: non family members

My irl friends since COVID haven't really been as much of a thing face to face, but we talk over Discord still and play games and d20 together. When I'm not being a recluse anyway I tend to talk to them at the same time as other things I'm doing.

There's also people I still catch up with from time to time but realistically they don't really count. As I get older I seem to keep less and less people around as my immediate company over feeling more tired.

No one anymore, it's kinda nice actually.

Well my current friend group is a bunch of guys who love guns most are currently and former coworkers. pretty much all but I dont discount that. we go out of our way to hang out only 2 out of the 6 are currently coworkers and since one committed suicide I'm left with 5.

Along with them is 2 or 3 others who are lower tier friends but still guys we hang out with.

Other than that I have a buddy of 8 years who lives in texas and we basically became discord pen pals, honestly probably my best friend.

I'm also friends with my other coworker. I think originally I wanted to hook up with her but I really just wanna be friends shes fun to talk to about random shit like life and goals. I dont think she likes that I friendzoned her but its probably the most healthy relationship I've had with the opposite sex. even tho platonic.

Other than that I have people I'm friends with benefits with that vary in quantity depending on when u ask. kinda volatile relationships if I'm being realistic

How about your other non-healthy relationships with women? Why are they not healthy?

Why does your coworker not want a platonic relationship with you? Do you think she likes you?

I have 3 close friends. We phone a lot. One of them lives near me. Two of them I would say are my heart friends because the connection goes beyond the worldly... Our values etc are also the same.

Then I have like 2 other friends that I see maybe once a month. It is nice but not so close. The one guy is a gay guy and my ex coworker. We became friends. The other girl was a roommate of my one heart friend and we became friends as well.

I would like 2 or more new friends that are on a  come over for beer level or go running with me level.

Most of my socializing is IRL, but that’s more by circumstance. I have an IRL friend from way back. Used to have more friends, but lost interest in making more about 7 years ago or so—declining offers to meet outside of work, not following up on phone numbers given to me, etc.

The older I get, the more I like to be alone/have control over doing what I’m in the mood for. If I found someone fun or interesting enough, maybe I’d befriend them.

I think it's just me being toxic and getting my feelings confused for romantic relationships that make me uncomfortable around a person.

She does want that but she has had certain moments where things got a little odd and I basically said I dont think we would be good for each other. And she wasnt convinced

I absolutely adore the friends I've found along the way, I'm very grateful to have met them.

I'm at an age in life where we all sort of do on our own thing a lot of the time, but I try my best between our busy lives to find a way we can hang out and do something interesting from time to time.

They're all such wonderful human beings. I think they appreciate that I appreciate them or see them, as they are typically the types that lead quiet or loner life styles- and prefer it that way for a reason.

I hang out with acquaintances IRL just because of work and recovery, or various things I'm pursuing and interested in. That's just day to day. But, my close close friends, yeah. I have a few.
