I am interested in proving that Jesus's claims are true, not my own

I am needing to prove them to my own self,  because it is the most beneficial for myself and everyone else that I am am able to test that Jesus's claims are true

and I was debating with Turncoat some about this but unfortunately,  he usually meets me with many logical fallacies and especially likes to redirect attention to myself instead of actually dissecting Jesus's claims and being interested in how they might possibly be true

and so I am thinking that maybe Turncoat is not who I should be having these discussions with lol

and before Turncoat tries to cherrypick scripture about not "testing" God,  Jesus does command us to test the spirits and see whether or not they are of God  context is super important

Why do you bring that here, then?  You don’t see how you preload your own discussion with caveats, blinders that you place on yourself.  Every single interlocutor you’ve had, you’ve eventually ad hominemed and devalued already, again you accuse others for what you do.  (And suspect you’ll again use *this* to “no u”.)

There are scholars and theologians who’ve done this work, have their own sites and resources.  There are churches and bible study groups.  So why bother coming here?  You can’t preach any more, by your own admission, so evangelizing is out of the question.

You come here to cope with your ego injuries, since what you really have boiling on your brain likely meets with much incredulity and maybe ridicule.  Here, you must think “these degenerates have no grounds to find it unacceptable” so you can either unburden yourself or feel justified in defending reprisals in some believed safe space.

You’ve consistently gone against your own directives and proclamations.

codependency addiction,  this has already been highlighted as the reason why I come on this forum at all,  and because of my trauma therapy I am healing and becoming less and less codependent on the opinions of this forum and other nonchristian forums because I am clearing all of the junk and lies and deceptions of Satan out of myself

Some sort of exposure therapy?  So it is ego; at least, by the way you seem to be handling it, so far.  It has just appeared like emotional pendulum-ing, without ever finding a balance.  The way you self-report also doesn’t give an indication you’ve had much success in achieving an equilibrium.  It might be a little early to tell…  It would be nice to have you see how disingenuous it makes you appear, which may hurt the credulity of your subsequent testimony.

You are bound for future insincere-looking apology-making, which may hurt the effectiveness you might hope for in spiritual practice or leading later.  You may consider this a throwaway place, but these are still people here that you affect.  And they way you appear to try to paradoxically devalue and then try to “help” does no one any good.

I don't want to see this as my throwaway place  I think that I have some low self-esteem from shame from my past that I am still working through that unintentionally gets projected on to other people

I do not want to feel the shame from my past that I feel anymore  :/

and I should not be feeling it because I am forgiven for all of my sins which means a clean brand new slate,  but there must be some places in my subconscious that still do not genuinely believe that I am forgiven

and I feel like crying because I want to be free from my past,  and I feel like I am so close but still not there yet  💔

This isn't codependency. Codependency was what you had with your ex. No one on SC is dependent on you or even looks forward to your threads. You're indifferent space filler.

You are on the other hand dependant on us. You can't operate without an audience.

You should take out the word "codependency" and reduce your explanation to "addiction ."
