There are a lot of people who are still not pro-LGBTQ, it's not that unusual.

 Just because lgbt people are represented more in movies doesn't mean shit, why do you think Disney makes lgbt sections or references so short? They export their movies to countries where gay people are lynched, for all they care. Companies are here to make a profit, usually it's the best way to pander to a crowd.
