I FEEL SO UNCOMFORTABLE WITHOUT NUMBING MYSELF WITH FOOD

I feel a lot of uncomfortableness and awkwardness and fear  tell me encouraging words or something ?  I was super addicted to emotional eating

everything is putting me on edge rn lol  :p  but like for real everything feels like nails on a chalkboard

Have you tried pickles, or celery? 

If you're just looking to feel like you're eating that stuff's 0 calories, otherwise weight watchers recommends sipping water between bites to feel full faster. 

Edit: That being said, this advice is not a substitute for food, it is in addition to a healthy diet.

The hardest part about these moments is finding ways to pass the time so that it'll grow easier to handle later. 

During these times I recommend distractions, like a show with a lot of episodes or a videogame.

Have some grapes. Very nice when chilled in the fridge. Rich in antioxidants, with a hint of fibre. Very good if you want to shed some rolls.

Same with watermelon though I'm not sure what they contain, it's good eat it anyway.

It sucks but I like literally have to replace emotional eating with doing inner healing work on myself  I don't want to do it but I have to do it

 

bandaid quick fixes on the surface level problems is not going to resolve any of my problems long-term

yeah I understand  It is difficult to find something to replace emotional eating with though because it was my most tried and true numbing habit

 

like I want to feel numb or mildly pleasurable instead of unpleasant emotions

What happens when you sit there and do nothing about the cravings, what sensations do you go through?
