It is just that we are under the new covenant now instead of the old covenant,  and the new testament is associated with the new covenant while the old covenant ("the law") is associated with the old testament

According to the New Testament itself, right? 

What's to stop an even newer testament from happening? If you're saying that stuff that came out after the New Testament was bullshit, couldn't followers of older laws accuse the same of the New Testament?
