After a short brief with CS, getting to know about her character and motivations, I started to contemplate about this Chat / Forum name.
To be fair, I would say this website actually makes up for it's label. If you study the cases, and members here, you would see the apple does not fall far from the three.
I will mention top 3 reasons why it should keep it's name and tradition, even thought I once voted to change and do something new.
1 - Wormboy will always be a classic. Killed his grandfather and posted here the pics, fresh, right after the murder.
In my humble opinion, that episode clearly blood pacted the users to this website. The originals from that time are still here.
One interesting fact, there are two designations for users here, one is lurker aka stalker, and the other is online active.
I myself been a lurker for a couple years before making myself known here. However members are silly enough to believe you only know enough about your posting age.
2 - Jim.
Of course he has to be mentioned. He has been the spinning wheel for this place for a long time. Not much active nowadays, but there was a time people laughed and enraged with his act. I have no better words to link Jim and SC then to say they are each other Horcrux.
Not that I want to remove the personality of the concept of this website on it's own, however it's incapable of my part not to say there was a time where this and Jim parasited on each other to be relevant. We can reaffirm his digit over this domain during the Kiwifarm war, where he was mentioned linked to this place more than once, if not, used as a escape goat to label this as a pedo land, which is untrue.
The Golden Age of SC imo, came after the war, when Jim basically got elevated to legend status with the hype it was made of him, and trolled SC with illegal shit whilst under the moderation of Luna Prey ( I miss her, hope she is making her dollars without being racist ).
That's when I also joined SC. Observing Edward, Cadaver, and others acting ( or trying ) as an Alpha was to me pretty boring. Watching Jim single handed not only handle them, but mostly, mirror their projection back to them was quite hyping for me. I've watched Edward for a long time, the way he interacted with Nina ( the German underage at the time ) was quite ironic if I can say the least.
How come, the brown Norwegian kickboxing pedo hunter hated Jim so much and yet he was so close to Nina?
3 - The Downfall of Luna Prey
She tried her best to keep it up. But with a Front-End like Good, it was hard not to expect a copycat with more freedom. Isn't him her Step-Brother?
Anyway. I liked Luna. She was pretty but I think the lack of Boyfriend / Sex created some sort of Incel Woman that hated other races and development among other countries besides US.
She became more dislikeable with time, and her ideas pretty on pair with hardcore Neo-Nazi groups.
Being from the group she hated, however, watching her along this years, hearing her fantastic ideas and how she foresought so much for the world, like she actually cared about humanity, just to turn into a nasty hateful person, really broke my heart. That's when I got the realization that internet is to troll. Troll forever.
