There's more to it than that. In many cases God made quite a few people in the Bible rich, and landslides of more people who aren't in the book.
You need to ask yourself what will you become with that kind of power. You also have to be wary of where your heart will be when rich.
In many cases being rich is the result of wisdom.
I always wanted a VR headset and I still never tried one. I see that $6000 headpiece that blows the minds of VR enthusiasts. It has them in a state of astonishment where the augmented reality literally fools the user into thinking things are really there, even when they run older VR software, it's like those programs are brand new. They can't stop repeating themselves and they can't stress how good this device is. This thing is different.
On the other hand I don't want to spend a great deal of time in metaverses, even those VR chat rooms from what I've seen is addictive and people live in there. One day maybe, or maybe not. I tend to lean toward useful things more often than not.

"A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the sinner's wealth is laid up for the righteous."
The first part of that sentence speaks of generational wealth. Money for lifetimes.
The sinner will spend and spend, that money is divided between hard workers.
Know this, it applies to everyone, and even more so when you're rich
“Beware of practicing your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. ...
