People just don't want to end up on a watch list or be associated with such a thing, at least sane people. 

Luna kept that shit off and it let the site grow, if I discovered the site nowadays and saw the front page I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, past me joined a site with at first seemingly no pedo crap and I really wish it stayed that way, even if Luna was being pretentious
