SociopathCommunity rabbit hole documentary/series

I'm not talking about that short video from waltz that isn't even a documentary at all. I'm talking a fully fledged, well produced deep dive into the insane rabbit hole of this community. If it caught any traction the video certainly would be successful because people love this internet rabbit hole content and it's a trend right now.... the site would have notoriety if this could be pulled off.

Now, I'm not well enough versed in the older history of pre-2018 history of SC to make such a video on my own and since old versions were nuked by Luna it's hard to do the research. But I'm sure some of you have archives or just remember things.

I mean think about it- all the crimes committed by members, character arcs, insane misadventures. It's this small obscure community on the fringe of the internet that's been quietly active for years. There's been a killing, suicide, arsons, a frat house by members, in person relationships.... You could make a large scale series on this stuff. The content would be endless and people would eat it up.

Anyone down to do this? Post ideas here.

"Too much work" tends to be where this goes.

Vaguely remember Xena mentioning she might of been writing a book that had some “characters” from SC in it or based on them… not sure how much of it is about SC. When I asked to know more about it she said it was being kept private basically.

I don’t know if she’s still working on it but at one time people were having private conversations with her about it when she asked them to.,, basically gathering information or something for her book I was assuming.

I think she made at least one thread about it or mentioned it in one of the threads here but I really don’t know what it’s about or what she’s up to these days. All this was a long while ago.

There’s a lot of brain storming that could be done but I think it would be interesting as sort of an episodic television series. Showing multiple perspectives and following multiple story arch’s within the one community.

I’ve seen a few things similar in movies or tv where it’s essentially about users who strictly know each other through a forum.

I don’t really know where it would all be going I guess the point would just be to follow the story lines of the characters and their lives and just get really invested in it or perhaps find them relatable

I suppose a lot of the gaps would have to be filled in with imagined content as it’s not fully known what goes on in these peoples lives outside the forums, you know. Their real stories.

Could be good though, if you think their stories are worth telling. It would be very raw. And the interesting thing about it is I believe the, sort of “perspectives” of these people and the one thing we sort of have somewhat in common. Our perspectives on society and the world, being sort of… different. A little darker than most I would say? Black pilled.

I think it would be crucial to brainstorm the commonality between everyone and to emphasize that, as that’s really the only way everyone fits together. The one common link between everyone here no matter how vastly different is we all sort of have this, lack of tolerance for bull shit.

We don’t see the world with rose colored glasses what so ever, not a single member here. It’s the antithesis of that.

So the *why* each member is the way they are and how they became seeing the world this way, and how we see the world today… whether it be mainstream media, popular culture, political affairs, where we stand on all issues… I think this would be the interesting tilt to the show or help people understand why we are a community in the first place.

Kind of like The Skins (tv series) but obviously not at all like the skins.

That approach is valid, it'd take extensive cooperation from members though especially if you used interviews as part of it.

I like that it includes diverse cultures and people. It could also include a good deal of comedic relief.

Theres sort of a specific genre of comedic flare that Sc has to it that I think the writing should also possess.

This place truly has a culture of its own

Its been often referred to as sort of an internet dumpster

You know it would be really interesting if *everyone* wrote it together.

I think it basically would require that… or at the very least interviews like you said

Would make sense, because everybody here know different parts of the history and knows it from a different angle. Maybe each person specializes in a specific story being told.

I can give a documentary on myself:

Legga entered Nabble back in 2011. Nobody cared. There was nothing particularly notable about Legga. He didn't cause drama, he didn't bother anyone, and he mostly just tried to make friends, but nobody cared about him. After nabble was nuked, Legga continued to visit SC, but was blissfully unaware of all his surroundings. He mostly just autistically went about his life, trying to make friends on SC. When he tried to chat with the people here, he was mostly ignored. Despite that, he remained on SC. When there was drama, Legga was mostly unaware of it, focusing his attention instead on things like how the weather is in Boston or in Sweden. Due to his boring nature, nobody gave a shit about what Legga had to say. One time, Luna forced herself to talk to Legga. However, after 5 minutes, she realized there was nothing that could be gained from talking with this person. So she decided to ignore him, like  everyone else. Despite that, Legga decided to remain on the website. He quit in 2015 for a couple of years, but then decided to come back. Nothing had changed. Mostly people ignored Legga, treating him like he was socially unaware of everything happening on the website, which he mostly was. Some shit happened and SC2 was also nuked, so Legga came on SC3, which is this website. These days, Legga is still ignored and is still boring. One recent progress is that Jimmy tried to be nice to Legga, because he figured that Legga may have something interesting to share. Boy was he wrong. Despite having been here since 2011, Legga has never participated in any drama nor has had anything particularly controversial to say, nor does he have anything interesting to share. It would be safe to say that Legga is the most boring person on SC.

The most narcissistic one as well as being the most boring
