but to be fair I do not know the pagan origins of Easter if there are any, I see no problem with celebrating Jesus holidays on random dates of the year even if the random dates happen to corralate with pagan holidays

It was originally based on a Pagan celebration though, it's one of the things the Christians stole kind of like Halloween.
Seriously the symbols for the holiday are even fertility ones: Eggs, rabbits, all that.
