this is why just changing my behaviors and my environment to become more Christian was not enough, I have to actually start correcting all of the subconscious lies that I am believing about myself and about God with the truth

This is what so many people miss about Christianity, Jesus says that he will do the saving, people cannot save themselves through their own efforts (works)
It is only by accepting Jesus's complete forgiveness of all past, present and future sins (grace) that we can be saved, and because Jesus gives us a new identity and we are new creations we can begin renewing our minds to the truth by reading the scriptures and start overcoming sinning by learning spiritual warfare

first of all it is completely forgiven anyway even if I do, and second no it is my fault but it sure does not condemn me to hell with Satan

If all sin is forgiven after the fact, why not just sin all the time then?

frankly ? because it stops feeling as good the more that the holy spirit washes you clean, and also because you realize that Jesus is trying to save people and you want to help him and the best way to do that is to learn to overcome sinning as much as possible (because this frees you up to be used as a vessel for God's will instead of your own selfish will)
see I admit defeat of my lusting at least presently because now my empathy for the unsaved and wanting to share the truth is taking over
