It is quite good. Dating someone new and I am kind of inspired by the lifestyle. For the past month I have only eaten for the first 10 days or so meat. Then I have switched to a veg diet for the rest of the month. i noticed my food variety improved a lot. I am trying out many new recipes and products. Many flavours that I have not tasted very often. can recommend. maybe ill give myself half a year of soy boy mode.

As a therapist you should know that it's 99% white women with eating disorders that follow these weird diets. Eating less red meat is one thing, and is a healthy thing to minimize, but creating strict rules around food is weird and disordered imo

what if they're doing it for moral reasons

Restricting your diet in any way is fucking idiotic and anybody who does it is retarded. Of course this is coming from a person that is almost literally incapable of gaining weight, but idc. I weigh the same thing I weighed as a sophomore in high school, and hypothyroidism keeps me at that weight no matter what I do.

Hypothyroidism causes weight gain, in general, it’s those meds that are keeping you from gaining weight

The meds are more or less required for it regardless. Not sure what your point is.

 You understood right?

Also always wanted to try HelloFresh not necessarily vegetarian

Hello Fresh is good, if you realize to triple prep time.  Otherwise, I’ve enjoyed several of their selections.

Alice and I use the vegetarian option for Hellofresh, I agree with this sentiment

food variety improved a lot. I am trying out many new recipes and products.

When you include meat in *every* meal it garuntees everything you eat will have one of like 5 common ingredients. Removing the 5 most common ingredients from most of your meals leads to a wide variety of replacements.

Last week it was lemon parm pasta with zucchini, next week it's chickpea curry. How boring would it be if both of those were just chicken based instead of zucchini and chickpea.

Who cares how boring it would be. Would obviously be way better.

I highly disagree. Why do you feel strongly about people enjoying food that doesn't have meat in it?

I mean no not really, but like cutting it out of your diet completely just seems absurd, detrimental to your well being and I refuse to believe there is any advantage to it at all outside of “I saved half a tortured cow in my lifetime”.

Yeah, I went vegetarian for several years. then I grew carrots and cabbage back from the stubs I cut off the bottom. Then I understood that plants are still alive when we eat them. So we are killing to live, no matter, plant or animal. I eat meat and vegetable now.

We haven't cut it out of our diet completely, just 2 meals a week. And who said anything about a tortured cow? I'm talking about flavor variety. Why do you feel so strongly about people enjoying a variety of food without meat in every meal?

I don’t feel that strongly about it I just think the things you mentioned would have been way better if you added meat. Not sure why you think that would make it boring. Kinda stupid post on your part.
