Let me know, thanks.

Idk how you don't know what love is.

Romantic love doesn't even capture half of it. The only way I can describe love is the feeling that you'd take a bullet for someone/something (can also be a dog for e.g.). No point discriminating between platonic/familial/romantic/the love you feel for a pet. They all combine over your lifetime to inform a general umbrella feeling.

Romantic love gets more attention, I think coz its more intense. But in my experience at least, it also feels more transient. I've got friends that I know I'll die with, whereas even when I've been in love with a girlfriend, I never know for sure if it'll last.

To me, love is accepting someone as they are and not wishing they were any different at all. It’s wising you were with them 24/7 even if you are not doing anything. It’s longing for someone because they make you feel safe, secure, happy and like nothing else in the world matters.

It’s wishing you could stare at them all day, every day. It’s not about wanting to know how they think or what they are about, but being content with what they are willing to share with you.

It’s about cherishing someone as they exist in each moment separately, but always feeling an almost palpable connection between you, like you’re connected in a physical way, even when you are far apart. It’s an overwhelming sense of acceptance and comfort, to sum it up.
