Spring Break has come and passed here in Florida, which means we really only have one more pleasant spring month with Easter celebrations before it’s time for SUMMER.
I don’t know about you but summer is a force to be reckoned with here in Florida and it’s time to prepare, this is your friendly curated reminder.
Book your vacations, make your summer plans, take that road trip.
Something I’ve learned the hard way- take the trip, eat the cake, buy the shoes while you can. Because you just never know what’s going to happen. Obviously, not in excess throw caution to the wind and drain your finances without savings. Spend within your means, enjoy life within the confines of responsible wrecklessness. Still take your meds, drink water, and party very responsibility, travel smart.
But yeah, there were moments where I had the opportunity to go to Hawaii (I’ve never been) and I said “I’ll go later, another year” and hesitated. I regretted that hesitation all of 2020, as lock downs went into place and COVID became every news headline. I missed the opportunity to go, and I wasn’t sure I would ever have it again to be honest. Hawaii dreams were looking grim and far into the future, a future perhaps that will never not know covid, and where travel is impossible without vaccination proof.
So that’s why I say, if the opportunity is available. Take the trip, buy the shoes, eat the cake. Because we all know, there was a time where we were confined without those opportunities and luxuries available to us.
We still live in uncertain times, but if you think about it, we always have- without knowing it. At any moment, anything could happen that could change everything forever- whether it’s on a global scale or a personal scale.
if these kind of experiences aren’t for you, of course plan something that you want most. I just like beach vacations and at this point as a Floridian, it’s sort of a summer tradition in my life.
I will be going on vacation this summer and in excitement I will be preparing myself but also, in turn, providing some insight into what you really need on vacation- from a professional Floridian.
Hopefully this inspires you to plan a weekend get away even locally- catch some rays, have a picnic, spend a day with nature. And, I dunno, this is something I enjoy sharing and I think it’s honestly helpful.
Feel free to share your own vacation inspiration tips or things your excited to include on your dream vacation… fashion, the aesthetic, the vibes. and all about your up coming plans. Brain storm all the ideas w/ me. It’s a good time.
PS- how’s the spring cleaning coming? 🙇♀️
