The Biden Administration has sent troops to Poland to teach the Ukranians how to fight, and given them $1.4billion worth of weapons and humanitarian aid so far.
Some Americans do care about the war bc they're just kind and sympathetic to oppressed people who have to watch their children and grandmothers get blown up.
I still suspect that there is oil in the Ukraine, and the western nations are planning on setting things up so they can push Putin out and deal directly with as many oil/natural gas producing former Soviet satellite countries as possible.
But I've not researched enough of the the logistics of American oil suppliers to say for sure.
I was totally surprised when Biden respectfully declined involvement with Trudeau's pipeline deal.
I kinda wondered if the Americans had found another supplier. Maybe it's the Ukraine? Idk...

I am a little skeptical of that number bc I've seen footage of witnesses describing the carnage in Mariupol, stating that civilian families were being loaded on to buses and being taken to Russia against their will. The estimate is that around 30 000 were relocated this way.

Right, there are ethnic Russians in the Donbas region. These are the people that were being shelled since 2004. They asked Putin for help against the Ukrainians.
