I feel like I don't really celebrate it anymore beyond the observance of it. The only real pressure I have to celebrate it's based on my peer groups and that's been shrinking as I get older.

This Christmas' haul was very small and I got very little for others, no tree this year, and even the stuff on TV feels like it's losing it's way.

To me, Christmas has been whored out by corporations to the point that it has essentially sucked out all the holiday spirit I once had in my youth. I asked for nothing for Christmas, and I got exactly that. I couldn’t have been happier.

I got money for apartment renovations, Bluetooth headphones, and a board game. Because of covid, one party is delayed for next week, I expect one more present there.
