 You can't help how you're born it's totally out of your control. Dogs don't choose to be born dogs there born dogs literally with no other choice.

Same thing with pedophiles. Not every pedophile is psychopathic and harmful. Some of them experience guilt anxiety and are suicidal over there pedophilic tendencies and fantasies. I don't think someone should be shunned for being attracted to children. Only if they act on there tendency then they should be. Same thing with rape, some men definitely have a tendency to rape. But they don't rape women at all. You shouldn't be thought police, people have the right to think what they like. But once it spills over into the real world, then that is when punishment should be handed down. I can see a number of moral issues and social issues with shaming, shunning and punishing somebody just for being sexually attracted to children.

Also I don't think children would need to be guarded from a pedophile unless that pedophile is psychopathic. Since 99% of pedophilic offenders are psychopathic scum. Most pedophiles don't act on there tendencies unless there bad.

what pedophile confesses that he has hurt a child? how many children keep the shit to themselves or don't even remember it till they're in their 40s or later? to me a non offending pedophile is a mythical creature, and can never truly be proven unless there is literally no opportunity for them to offend. even then it's lack of availability that would confirm they hadn't offended...not good intentions

 Okay so somebody who is sadistic and is a potential murderer should be shamed for watching gore as an outlet rather than murdering somebody? Face it the world isn't perfect humans are not perfect. What you should learn to appreciate is somebodies ability to function in society. Most of these people are releasing the urges out on to art, videos, images it would be better than doing the real thing. At least they are holding back. A psychopathic person would have no interest in doing this they would just be predators on society onto they are imprisoned indefinitely. If you shame them you just create a bigger problem and create more room for them to justify there actions. Don't be stupid. Pedophiles shouldn't be bashed for being pedophiles. Same way people with schizophrenia, psychopathy shouldn't be shamed for having problems they never chose to be born with. 

Like I said. People hide there cruelty well. You are a good example of this.
