I almost lost all of SC 2 code, because I had ransomware on my work PC that infected me via the remote control.
Luckily I caught it as it was encrypting and fixed it.
That code was only on my PC, it was not uploaded anywhere else.
Not smart. On behalf of everyone who loves it here, don’t make the same mistake twice. Put the code on an external hard drive and two other computers. This is our lives you’re being irresponsible with 😜

i accidentally broke my hard drive and my uninsured phone within the space of about 2 months. i do believe i suffered several mini strokes as a result of this
I have never lost a file for 28 years, till now, so I think its generally safe.
Generally is not good enough. Must be extremely safe. This is people’s entire online lives. At least it’s mine. I have no other social media or anything on the internet. This is my internet home. Please protect it with your life. Thank you 😁
