And yet this particular reading sussed out this person right away and they were forced to admit to it, they wouldn't even have told me what was going on until i brought up the reading.

Sounds more like a super fragile enabling, Tarot literally tells you when you learn it to bullshit people, to just feel the room.
This is why a lot of Tarot readers get into Astrology by the way: It gives their Cold Readings a little more polish from utilizing an otherwise speculatively legitimate system of patterns. Drawing cards isn't any different from rolling dice, and barely apart from looking at bones for readings.

I'm usually really skeptical of this shit. The initial reading was done by a friend without my permission and stated something way too specific. Going back in memory and in texts to see if they were building off something i said found nothing.
When they finally had my permission to continue they stated something that wasn't at all vague or cold reading. I've had tarot readings in the past, forced by my mother. I know what cold read vague bullshit is. This wasn't it.
