At this point she and I are sitting here laughing at how weird his stalling is while he otherwise continues talking about it, illustrating his proclivity towards lying in a way that's observable to his immediate audience. All we have to do is sit here asking where the email is and his credibility weakens that much more, plus he starts getting even weirder in chat when pressed on it. In a sense that blunder of his that he's incapable of admitting to is a gift that keeps on giving. 

His 2022 New Years resolution post is a bit depressing, this is all he gets out of these sorts of conversations. Rather than bother to see things from another viewpoint he's just telling himself that he needs to fake it harder so that people will like him again.
