Multituberculates are these cute fuzzy little mammalian fuzzies who possess INCISORS. They are glires, some of the first actually, and some can also possess a unique incisor like tooth in the back of their mouth. They reached their diverse peak during the cretation period though, and they started to really come around in the middle of the Jurassic period tho. They are definitely an ancestor of rodentia, and lagomorphs.
Very cute! As you can see this one has a prehensile tail as well, like a possum, but is different than a possum because he has lagomorph/rodentia and he looks very much like a tree shrew, That's right, he is the evolutionary ancestor of bunnies, rats, and pussums. He is also the ancestor of unique primates, for example, the aye-aye. Think of him likea Fun hybrid mix of all of em, although technically this isn't the case.
They lived for a really long time, and may have been the longest reigning mammals and we're the most common in their time 120 million years of BEAUTIFUL glires reigning the earth. My babies are all dead.
