You lost a child ?

I saw something in 2014 and I'm convinced it was death. That night before I went to sleep, I said out loud how I want to see something interesting in my dreams.

The environment was black, and this guy had dark dark dark dark grey skin. I was able to see his skin tone without a spot light, even though we were surrounded by blackness. He was topless and had a Bruce Lee build, very thin but muscular. Despite being topless he wore a hood just on his head and I couldn't see his face, it was just blackness inside the hood. I just remember him from the torso up, so I couldn't tell you if he had any other garments. His build as you can image is very detailed, and I'm not sure if he had any markings on his skin, something tells me he did. I mean if someone dressed up like that, it would look like a professional designed this character.

He was in front of me less than 3 feet away. It grabbed me by the armpits with it's thumbs clenched on my chest and it pulled me in, and he rested his face on my neck. It wasn't too scary, just a bit disturbing. We can really grab people like that and it's rude to do that to someone I reckon. People have no idea or they really don't see it coming when being hooked like that from the armpits.

I woke up,  the light was on, and as I was looking up at the ceiling, I can feel his grip getting tighter for 10 seconds or so before letting me go, I was even able to feel something on my neck. The transaction from the dream state was seamless. I wasn't afraid cause I was somehow assured this will cease. Maybe the reason why it made it that far was because I pretty much invited anything to come and show me a time in my dreams, spiritually that makes it legal for entities to fuck with it.

3 days after that experience my Father passed away. I think to myself, yeah that was death. It appeared to me as if I was supposed to know who or what he is. I call it a he cause it's body was male. Maybe it was trying to tell me to call the old man. My Father was in another country so maybe it was looking for him through some genetic trail and it stopped to check me out. It's mysterious.

Do I think the/an angel of death is a guardian ?  I have no real way of knowing.

From what I've gathered, we have 3 angels with us at all times. It could also be their duty to release us when we pass away, who knows. Time doesn't really exist to them, so they can chill until death comes about or maybe they can do it themselves.

 Yes the angel of death is good, he works for god, and as a worker for god you should take him very seriously. This angels personality would best be represented by a scale, and he can repremand or warn as fast as he can comfort, and all is for the greater good. 

He does not take suicide lightly, and can even try to scare people out of it with his presence. 

But at the same time, if it is your time, he will come gently, unless this death is a punishment of God, but that is rare.

When he was squeezing you, it was a warning to get your attention to spend more time with your grandfather before he passed away, it was probably a last wish of your grandfather's for you to see him, And last wishes are of upmost importance to this angel if the mortal is decent, which is a good sign your grandfather is in good standing under God. 

He was squeezing you however, because you in this situation may be stubborn, and not see your grandfather before he passed. 

I know this angel well, and he only scares people when absolutely necessary.

To me he is covered in a black rope and holds a scythe, and is usually verbally silent.

He is so powerful that he does not need to speak to convey his message, but you can feel his message just by looking upon him.

When he does rarely ever speak he usually refers to me as madame whereas he used to refer to me as young lady, so age is something that will affect the way he addresses you. 

He is the only one to treat me with respect and for that I am greatful.

When he does speak it isn't really speaking, you can feel him saying the words and it's less than a whisper and stronger than screaming at the same time.

Seeing him reminds me that if I don't commit suicide, and I patiently wait for him,

One day he will come for me and I will rest. 

And I understand the promise that all my mental illness will go away, and all my brain damage will be gone, and I won't be disturbed any more, but at rest. And before my passing on is complete, death will comfort me one last time, as my friend, and I won't feel lonely in that moment. 

One day will come a moment that I do not feel alone.

 Thank you, I thought people might think this was cringe, and this is something so important and serious to me I wasn't sure if I should talk about it, but I thought about it for a long time.

and, I don't think the angel of death is an evil angel. And, the only angel I have ever seen has been the angel of death, so they would be most likely to be my guardian angel. 

Not sure about that though... 

When I would be in solitary confinement, I would have visions and dreams of the angel of death, comforting me and offering me friendship. 

Sounds like hallucinations/daydreams.

When I have been suicidal, the angel of death told me in dreams that my time is not here yet and it will be one day when the time is right. 

God (even via an angel) may be talking to your subconscious through visions I guess.

I could feel the angel of death, a comforting presence behind me, telling me everything is ok but also warning me, when I tried to take my own life. 

Yeah don't take your life <3

I felt them there comforting me when I have had pets pass away

I have been comforted by the angel of death, knowing one day I will cross over. 

I see the angel of death in my dreams all the time, and they are always kind to me and sweet. 

When my child passed, the angel of death assured me they were safe in his hands, and he gave me closure because I could vaguely feel his presence when I finally let my baby's ashes go into the ocean.

Because the angel of death has protected me from myself, and comforted me during hard times, and I know everyone has a guardian angel, I think the angel of death is possibly mine. 

I could be wrong, though.
