I think it's that she still cares enough about him to not want to risk sending him to prison.
She's shown protest to the idea before now too.

I could have tried to claim that her refusal to call the cops means "they might catch her in a lie" if not her worrying about something like that, but from what I've seen it seems more like concern over his well being in spite of it all.
If she's got bruises it'll be catalogued and a report made.
She specifically does not want that's the thing, she'd see this as it being inflicted upon her rather than going there to help her.
At the very least there's more sense in her doing the call than anyone here if she's to process it properly.
