we need new mods
I don't really see why when there's pretty much no work to do here right now. There's been no spam to clean for months, no CP for a good long while now, and no doxes being requested down.
I've had less to do this year compared to other years here, the place pretty much maintains itself, so why are new mods needed?
the old mod power is corrupted from being able to do whatever and feeling secure in their positions, and it just isn't working. I would be good in mod trial of just given the chance.
What have mods here done wrong in a corrupt fashion?
I have never doxed anyone or posted cp here, if I have the self control and decency to do that , then I would have the decency to be mod, keep the freedom, and get Emily to tone down on her crazy bullshit that chased half the site away.
You've straight up threatened to visit my house, and from you that's a threat you're liable to deliver on compared to most people who don't even have the courage to call the landline. 😛
and because of time zones I would be here when the other mods are asleep which would solve the mice being at play when the cats away problem, and not many can say that, but I can because I live in Hawaii.
there is space for a mod people haven't considered, when the main mods are asleep. I am on Pacific islander time and I am the ONLY person who both can fill the space for that and is willing
current modship is rusty and we can keep the old mods but we need balance and someone who can be around when other mods are sleeping and me being in Pacific island time helps that issue.
What do you figure my hours are? We probably keep similar hours actually.
This place also has users accounting for timezones all over the world, rather than just US ones. This convenience you're offering is an illusion over how almost anyone else being modded here could cover similar timeframes.
the complete closedness is an unwise decision, and anyone who hasn't doxed or posted cp, and has been here 3+ years SHOULD be given a chance.
if I were to be given a chance it would give other people a chance, and we could even start rotating modships so people are always at their best work and not tired or jaded and get things done right.then we could get good, hardworking people with lives in here and not only allow losers who have nothing to do ever here.
tc is not a nothing loser, but we do need some fresh faces.
Why though? I don't actually see the benefit in this fresh face phenomenon.
sugar needs someone to WORK WITH. and she is a mod, she's here volunteering for the good of the site every day, her say should matter.

just because some people would be annoyed if I were mod, doesn't mean I should be ruled out. tc has been mod forever, and that is extremely controversial, yet tc helps
Anyone in the mod seat is controversial, as we've seen from multiple people here trying to run servers.
It paints a target on anyone who'd dare to be seen as having a leg up on someone else, which is why it's important to have the mod position look weak.
