Wouldn't Diplomacy be an effective means of convincing people of the merits of Jesus? It makes sense to me to try to become peoples' friends before pushing your faith on them. 

Really though, it advertises itself as a religion of love and fellowship, why shouldn't someone who's of Jesus' ways try to befriend those of other faiths? 

You're taking the tenants of an all inclusive faith and trying to gate keep others out when they don't do it your way.

The people on this forum (and probably on other God hating and sin loving communities that you float around playing holier-than-thou saint in but not actually leading anyone to true salvation) want nothing to do with Jesus or salvation and have made it clear,

and Jesus is very very clear that we are to search out the lost sheep that are actually suffering (the weak, impoverished, sick, homeless, suffering and imrpisoned) because of their sinful lifestyles and looking for a Savior and to show them the love of Jesus, not ones who enjoy their sinful lifestyles 

Feathers, you should confess before Jesus, that you know that you are leading none of these people from this God hating sin loving community to Jesus and true salvation, and that the only reason why you spend time trying to be "best friends" on communities like these is to play holier-than-thou, but to not ever truly take up your cross and follow Jesus and the apostles into living a life of spending all of your time helping the weak, impoverished, homeless, sick, suffering, and imprisoned, and not from your little cellphone either but actually physically in real life spending all of your time doing this, as well as trying to be "best friends" with the church and the true saints, and not God hating and sin loving communities that are not looking for a Savior)

not from sitting up in your pious tower like the priest and the levite, but actually physically getting down and helping the poor beat up homeless man on the side of the road like the good Samaritan

!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is scriptural proof that God hating sin loving communities of people who are not looking for a Savior and have no interest in Jesus leading them to salvation, should hate you, just like they hated Jesus, not see you as their "best friend"

John 15:18-27
