I am going to start off by saying I don't think jesus is god, or anything more than a human being.
But I think he was a cool dude.
IF and I mean IF the stories had some truth to them, and I do think there was some truth, I see him as a histori figure and philosopher, and a respectable revolutionary. I don't agree with every he said but I think he was probably a chill guy where it counts.
Some jews hate jesus and even think he's in hell, I don't see any evidence of this I think that he will be in the world to come or whatever chilling with the other Jews talking about life.
People think that I think christianity is anti-semitic because of stuff jesus said, he wasn't anti-semitic, he only argued with other Jews about how to be a jew and that isn't anti-Semitism, I think the roman church was anti-semitic, and that's different. Actually I agree with a lot of what jesus said and ironically I think I am religiously similar to jesus in my take on God and the Torah. When he told of the pharisees I was agreeing.
So yeah, my perspective on jesus is pretty controversial because I neither hate more worship him.
I don't think he would be happy if he knew christianity came because of him though, and I don't think he would be happy if he knew what people say he was saying or say he's god ect, I think he'd be like "wtf."
I don't think he should have been hung on the cross, like many philosophers at that time, he was killed.
R.I.P jesus, mad respect.
Ps: respect isn't the same as worship you don't have to say someone is a God to respect em.
I think Jesus Christ is God. Especially considering my life experiences with Him. I don't think he's "anti-semitic" because technically He was Jewish. There's even different denominations and arguments within Jewish people's views today.
Jewish people today are still waiting for a messiah. Show me a better candidate than Jesus and I'll review the evidence. So far I think Jesus is the best match for messiah (and He has two appearances).
Matthew 16:16-17 "Simon Peter replied, 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.' And Jesus answered him, 'Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven'".
What don't you agree with ?
I literally said he isn't antisemitic and explained he's Jewish.....
I know... I'm agreeing with more evidence. Not everything is an argument o:
