I get one of two responses when it becomes the topic of discussion:
A) "Oh no don't do that to yourself!" followed by questioning childhood damage, the transtrender phenomenon, how I was raised, rape PTSD, the presence of disorders, how much 'losing a dick' is like killing yourself, etc.But like, you know yourself and whether any of these things stick, most of them don't. You've said you felt more towards the feminine even as a kid i think. And even just passing doesn't mean you have to do a big chop if you aren't ready for it.
Yeah, that feeling I had as a kid's been here the entire time with tons of people sitting there to either correct it or turn off their perceptions. When I see the same people who'd say I look good praising super fucking ugly expressions of it it has me unable to take them seriously, and having had this many years to fret and obsess over it's only reinforced it to some degree. The modern era saying it has to be okay is actually in some ways making me more insecure.
Cis-women are already stuck facing the aesthetic challenges of the modern age, and have had their share of them across history. Trans-women trying to dress the part garishly I see as insulting towards the modern expression of the gender, and until Cis-women don't have to push themselves towards an unrealistic aesthetic I don't see why Trans-women shouldn't have to either.
Contra has spoken extensively about the same sorts of issues, even going as far as logging onto 4chan to submit a photo and let them rip into her to validate her self-criticisms when they'd mirror her own thoughts. It's a form of 'digital self-harm' as she puts it, and she really wants to embrace the idea of 'No Judgement', but you can just see her still doing it and I'm not any better for it.B) "Oh yasss you go gurl, you be who you gonna be!", showing me it's more over their believed philosophy rather than how well I'm doing. It ends up not being able to be taken seriously over how they're expressly trying to not judge it, and oftentimes I still see them doing it.
It's rare to find someone who's actually like "No that doesn't work, try the long sleeve instead" without some sort of reaction being held back. Even the whole 'treat them like it's dress up' has a tendency to kind of infantilize trannies, but I get that it's not coming from a purely malicious place even if it still appears funny.Oops lmao
Like I said, it's fine and not intentional, and frankly I could use the fashion advice.
Really, it's normal to find this thing weird, that's why it had to become an entire movement to try to change minds.

I believe TC would not have decided he's trans if he weren't suffering from his psychotic/delusional disorder. It's another symptom of his crazy, not a bona fide female stuck up in that fluffy head.

They're not related at all.
The mentally ill are mistaken/delusional/psychotic.
The traumatized are trying to escape their pain by living in a fantasy world.
The perverts are lying to get closer to the victims they mean to abuse.
None of those 3 groups are real transwomen.
