It's made with agar agar so its a little bit firmer than gelatin (which is what I assume you mean by jelly?). It's pretty good in a tea drink, sweeter than the pearls I'd say.
Idk if you've tried just a milk tea with egg pudding, that's pretty yum.
is egg pudding like creme foam? I've tried that and it's very nom but super sweet and rich, couldn't do it often

Nah, don't know if you've ever had Flan, which is another type of egg pudding but the egg pudding used for milk tea looks like that only it's waaaaay mild with the sweetness, a pale yellow compared to the caramel yellow of flan.
I don't think I've had the sweet creme so I can't agree if it's too sweet or not but i have has the cheese foam with salt and it's pretty nice, a tad sweeter yes tho
