hyped baked feta pasta recipe is shit

you may have seen it on fb or whatever. supposedly it is so easy to make and so tasty and fancy. you cook spagghetti and put a feta cheese in one casserole and around it tomatoes, onions chopped and garlic. you pour olive oil over it and bake it for half an hour. then you take it out and put the noodles in and stir everything.

 

anyways i made it like 3 times for dates and it always tasted really shitty etc. the dates also did not like it. they were visibly underwhelmed. i though after the first time ohhh maybe i dont get it and it is still fancy or trendy etc because it is hyped online but it was really bad

From experience, the oils having time to soak into the noodles plumps them a bit and makes them more flavorful and the Feta's creamier potential spreads more into the dish as it has time to dissolve more. 

A lot of meals taste better right when they're finished and fresh to eat, but for this sort of thing specifically I've seen promising results from letting it sit in a cold environment.
