maureen from nick hornby's A long way down. Read his books when I was 13 or so. She has striking similarities with this woman not just in (as much as we know of) life story but also the energy. i have seen there is a movie adaptation now, which i have not seen. but xena gives off strong MAUREEN vibes from the books
