If God revealed himself to the modern world, all sense of privacy and decision making would go out the window. We wouldn't develop freely nor would we become what we would have without interference.
The writers embellished my talents a bit. The waters I walked upon were shallow and near-frozen at the Sea of Galilee and my gifts of food and wine were not there as if magic, but there as if merely unexpected by those who thanked me. It was through the tradesmen who saw His light that we gathered nourishment for the less fortunate, and through charity we see this gesture repeated time and time again. When I'd granted them food they only mentioned fish over that being my holy symbol, one artists and writers of the time used to show their faith in their works without expressly giving away their allegiance, for giving that away for a time was enough to be stoned to death.

My rebirth's symbolic, I am reborn in the hearts and minds of those who know I am with them. It is through my children that my will will be done as they carry my banner, crush those of Satan's ire, and ascend the bounds of death and suffering.
My child, have you not read the bible? I'm not the only one who speaks to my father, you just need to seek him out with all your heart for His words to reach you. If you do not hear Him then you must not really be seeking His light, but rather your own darkness.
