Here is the recipe I used:

scraped peeling from 1 organic orange

40ml freshly pressed orange juice (juice from one orange)

260gr flour

8gr baking soda

quarter of a teaspoon salt

90gr powdered sugar

100gr butter

put it together, mix everything then let rest for 1 hour in fridge. make small balls and cover with powdered sugar. bake in oven for 12 minutes at 180 degrees.

Let's see howm they taste when they have cooled down. The dough tasted bad.

They look like shit but they probably taste better, A for effort

they look like the ones on this website though:

https://www.inspirationforall.de/orangenkekse-rezept/

so i cant be blamed for it

I baked two kinds of christmas cookies yesterday with a friend. First ones came out great "Lebkuchen". The Lebkuchen were finished with chopped almonds on the top, which changes their whole look and makes them look like real Lebkuchen.

Second ones were called "Rahmplätzchen". It was like a really easy basic dough with 2 table spoons of cream added. You were supposed to coat them in cinnamon and sugar BEFORE baking. As you can see, the cinnamon got burned. The actual cookies are not burned, just the cinnamon became very dark. It does not taste burned. However, I dont like the textures of the cookies. The cream caused them to rise up and they seem kinda dry. Very uninspiring.

made these today for a friend. regular simple recipe, we call them "Butterplätzchen". It is the type that german grandmas make. mainly flour, butter and sugar. i used spelt flour to make them more healthy.

I am unhappy with the participation in this thread. This is a participatory thread. It is christmas time now and people enjoy cookies. Where is the problem? Do you want SC to be shit or do you want it to be fun? Do you want it to be stale and sad or do you want it to be warm and christmassy?
