I've seen ppl use a fake poll to track IPs on this forum. Telling me I'm in Aurora and Guelph and Hamilton lol

Ofc it didn't work, but I'd rather not risk somebody here getting too close to my actual address.

I haven't at all, and the code doesn't support that paranoia either.

You're more at risk looking at a jpg than answering a poll on this website.

I mean you know your IP's likely already in the system here, right? Clicking a poll doesn't change that at all. 

Avoiding polls from outside websites is safe, but Meta's polls don't have weird shenanigans.
