instead of tax on meat, I would require better treatment of agricultural animals. These animals standing in their own shit and piss is disgusting. Free range and natural hunting would be encouraged.

I would also educate people on exactly the life and death process of these animals. Do not hide the truth. You must know how the meat on your plate got there and the condition of the animals life.

Hiding the unpleasant truth just causes people to become complacent. You ever smelled one of these?
