i wanna know what are your general sources, im just curious. also did wikileaks confirm they had been in contact with rich? or is that like against their policy lol..cos the guys dead..not like they need to keep it a secret

Doxing sources is a sensitive subject for Wikileaks as protecting the identity of their sources is crucial to the sites model and functionality. Assange made that crystal clear when he was interviewed and put out a reward for Seth Rich, again, DNC staffer, at a time when DNC emails were a hot topic on Wikileaks.
Not showing concern and not shedding some light on the matter for Seth could potentially be more dangerous, and even though Wikileaks would take damage bringing it up, they still did it and nice and gentally hence the discription of what their whistle blowers might endure. It was still better to mention it out into the open.
Assange was also banned from the internet.
At the moment Julian Assange is muted, and the remaining time he had outside of being incarcerated was better spent on not rubbing salt on Wikileaks wounds, lest they instill fear on whistle blowers who supply the platform. In a nutshell it's not wise to repeat the case, and he couldn't really.

It's ironic that he's locked up cause Assange attempted to contact Clinton about their server passwords being vulnerable before leaking some of its content himself. There's an element to that which doesn't fit, then Seth Rich's death shook Wikileaks. Now he's taking the blame. US wants him in custody but a Judge ruled against it.
