this and the autistic clowns who "troll in real life" by making noises in supermarkets and acting spergy and the people who think this shit is funny i wanna stab em, so fkn dumb
I also hate that. Doesn't take much intelligence and humor to go on people and be a pure disrespectul asshole. That's what crazy people do, but this one is actually recording it so it can be used against him later.
I'm not totally opposed to cringe comedy (I think Eric Andre does it well for e.g.) but this shit is unwatchable.
Eric Andre is great, but he's more than just cringe. There's nuance in his cringe. lol He evokes a range of reactions, and some of them reveal funny shit about people's expectations. Not to mention there's a lot of good one-liners in there. It's not just being an autistic ass and filming people walk away from it.

Yeah, I think the crux of it is just that he's clever. The way I see it, he uses cringe as a conduit to illuminate subversive and satirical themes, rather than cringe being the goal itself.
I think that's what this (and many other) videos lack. Cringe alone isn't a worthy comedic goal, but it is a useful solvent.
