One time I was talking to this girl, and somehow the conversation became about her getting raped before or something. Anyway, I started joking about it because I thought it would be funny to. She looked at me with an expression i thought was humorous, but started crying. I was like wtf do i do! Fuck fuck fuck! I can tell this emotion from context mainly now, from experience.
The second example is one of fear. I still have extreme trouble recognizing this face. Anyway it was with some girl and we got into a conversation. I started (playfully) yelling as a joke (in my mind) and she was backing away (a clear sign i now understand), i thought this was part of the "joke roleplay", began to do it more and saw her face, it just looks normal to me.
Anyone experienced stuff like this? I'm just so bad at recognizing emotional expressions! I think I just fake them no matter what I feel inside. Can anyone relate to this? Is this an autism or antisocial thing?
