How evasive do you think he's being? Why do you think he is? His claims seem to be true. Is he worried about sharing details because -- considering his notoriety or more public exposure -- he's worried about infringing on confidentiality or something? He claims to have gone down the path he's taken because of confidence issues. His behavior seems to contradict this to some degree. He never went into specifics about any childhood reasons he alludes to, among other conversational dead-ends.
In contrast, the guy below -- who seems to be in a generally similar industry, but in a different role/capacity -- seems way more sure of himself. He talks openly and unashamedly of his experiences. He has specific stories and comes across way more genuine.
