I used to enjoy holidays. Halloween was a time of mischief. Tossing eggs and making a break for it.

We got busted for egging a house once and we went back the next day with a ladder to clean it up.

My final Halloween, we joined a mob of teens, some went to the same school, a swarm of over 100 easy. Bad things happened that night, they looted a convince store, we ran from the cops into a forest in the night, but the worst was they swarmed a kid for his candies.

Some girls in remorse asked "is he's black ? Stop is he black ? ( most of the crowd was black) so the swarm backed off into a circle and the kid was gone.

 I hate the cold and thought of moving more south, but then theres worse forces of nature like hurricanes and Earthquakes and tornadoes and drought/fire/smoke and floods going on in warm places, so I'll just cope with the bipolar weather year after year.

Only felt 2 tremors in my life and they were mild.
